Terms of Service

The following terms and conditions govern all use of the spoofcallerid.com website and all content, services, and products available at or through the website (collectively, "Services"). Our Services are offered subject to your acceptance, without modification, of all terms and conditions contained herein, along with any other operating rules, policies (including, without limitation, our Privacy Policy), and procedures that may be published from time to time by SpoofCallerID (collectively, the "Agreement"). We may automatically upgrade our Services, and these terms will apply to any upgrades.

Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using our Services. By accessing or using any part of our Services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use our Services. If these terms are considered an offer by SpoofCallerID, acceptance is expressly limited to these terms.

Our Services are not intended for users under 16 years of age. Access and use of our Services are only available to users who are 16 or older. If you are under 16, please do not register to use our Services. By registering as a user or providing personal information, you represent that you are 16 years of age or older. Using our Services requires a SpoofCallerID account. You agree to provide complete and accurate information when registering and are solely responsible for any activity under your username. You are responsible for keeping your password and API token (if applicable) secure.

1. SpoofCallerID Services.

  • Responsibility of Users. If you send SMS messages, use caller ID services, or make (or allow any third party to make) material available through our Services ("Content"), you are entirely responsible for that Content and any harm resulting from it, regardless of its form (e.g., text, links, or other data). By using SpoofCallerID, you represent and warrant that your Content and conduct comply with these terms, including but not limited to prohibitions on spamming, phishing, and deceptive messaging. You grant SpoofCallerID a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to process and transmit your Content solely for the purpose of providing our Services, such as sending SMS or displaying caller ID information. If you delete Content, SpoofCallerID will use reasonable efforts to remove it from our systems, but caching or references to the Content may not be immediately unavailable. SpoofCallerID reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to (i) reclaim your username or account due to prolonged inactivity, (ii) refuse or block any Content that violates our policies or is deemed harmful, fraudulent, or objectionable, or (iii) suspend or terminate access to SpoofCallerID for any reason, including policy violations. SpoofCallerID is not obligated to refund any amounts previously paid.

  • Prohibited Actions. You may not engage in activities that violate this Agreement, including but not limited to:

    • Sending spam, phishing messages, or any unsolicited or deceptive content, including Apple-related spam.
    • Using public virtual numbers (e.g., from services like onlinesim, smsreceivefree, or receive-sms-online) or test numbers (e.g., SMSReceive), as these are automatically detected and blocked.
    • Sending repeated messages to the same number in a single campaign or to blacklisted numbers, which are automatically ignored.
    • Using message content containing prohibited words or patterns (e.g., references to 'card,' 'paypal,' 'bank,' gambling, drugs, or weapons) that may trigger SMS filters.
    • Using URL shorteners associated with spam or unreliable content delivery.
    • Violating local regulations regarding SMS messaging or caller ID use.
Violations may result in temporary suspension, permanent account banning, or legal action.

  • HTTPS and Security. We provide end-to-end encryption and secure protocols, including RSA 256-bit encryption, for all data transmission and storage. HTTPS is enabled by default for all interactions with our platform.

2. SMS Messaging.

  • Sender Identifier (SID). A SID is the name or number displayed as the sender on the recipient’s device. SIDs are limited to 11 characters. Numeric SIDs are allowed but may have limited delivery in some countries. If alphanumeric SIDs are not supported in a recipient’s country, use a generic identifier (e.g., 'SMS' or '1234'). If a SID does not work, use an alternative; we do not accept reports regarding SID compatibility issues.

  • Message Content. Content must adhere to our guidelines and avoid prohibited or suspicious words. Unicode messages (e.g., containing emojis or non-Latin characters) may affect length and pricing. Messages cannot be canceled or modified once sent, so review carefully before sending.

  • Bulk SMS. You may send bulk SMS to up to 250,000 numbers every 5 minutes, processed in batches of 500 for optimal delivery. Duplicate numbers in a single campaign are automatically removed to prevent spamming. International messaging is supported, but costs and delivery parameters vary by country and route.

  • Delivery Reports (DLR). Real-time delivery reports are available on your dashboard, showing the status of each message. A campaign ID is assigned to each campaign for tracking and analysis. Messages marked as 'Resubmitted' indicate automatic re-sending after an initial failure.

  • Phone Number Formatting. Numbers must follow the CountryCode+Number format (e.g., +34 for Spain). Do not add a prefix if already included, as this may cause errors (e.g., Error 713 for incorrect formatting) and non-refunded charges.

  • Routes and Codes. SMS routes vary by cost, speed, and reliability based on the destination country and operator. Shortcodes (5- or 6-digit numbers) offer faster, more secure delivery than long codes (10-digit numbers).

3. Filters and Blacklisting.

Filters: Destination operators apply filters to detect and block spam, phishing, fraud, scams, gambling, or references to drugs or weapons. Keywords like 'card,' 'paypal,' or 'bank,' as well as sender history, embedded URLs, or message patterns, may trigger filters. If an SMS with a link fails to deliver, modify the content or link and review sender reputation.

Blacklisting: Numbers flagged for spam or abuse are added to a blacklist, and messages to these numbers will not be delivered. Excessive test sends may trigger spam filters and result in blacklisting. Use test sends sparingly to avoid account restrictions.

4. HLR Lookups.

Home Location Register (HLR): HLR lookups verify a phone number’s status, including its network operator, country, and activity status, to ensure messages are sent to valid numbers. There is no limit on HLR lookups, but each consumes account credits. Results are provided in a detailed downloadable report after verification.

5. Security.

Data Protection: We use end-to-end encryption and secure protocols to protect your messages and data during transmission. Leads and data are protected with RSA 256-bit encryption and strict access controls. Campaign logs and essential data are stored only for a limited period to support operations and troubleshooting, then securely deleted per our retention policies.

Sensitive Information: We do not store sensitive personal data, such as IP addresses, beyond what is necessary for service operations. Multiple security layers, including encryption, secure authentication, and regular audits, prevent unauthorized access.

6. Account and Payments.

  • Account Management. You can view your account balance, message history, and delivery reports on the dashboard. Update account details via the settings section or contact support for assistance. If you experience issues, contact our support team for resolution.

  • Payments. We accept only cryptocurrency payments (e.g., Bitcoin requiring 3 confirmations, Ethereum requiring 12). Funds are credited to your account after the required blockchain confirmations, with recharge times depending on blockchain traffic. If funds do not appear, allow time for confirmations and contact support if needed.

  • Test Sends. New users receive one free test send to a single phone number. Additional test sends consume credits and should be used sparingly to avoid triggering spam filters.

  • Costs and Refunds. SMS costs vary by destination country and message type (standard or Unicode) and are detailed in the coverage section of our website. Charges are incurred upon sending, regardless of delivery status. Credits and payments are non-refundable, including for undelivered messages or unused account balances.

7. API Usage.

  • API Access. Our API allows integration with your applications for SMS sending and HLR lookups. Refer to our comprehensive API documentation for endpoints, examples, and instructions. API tokens must be kept confidential to prevent unauthorized access. We do not offer direct developer support, but documentation and community forums are available.

  • Rate Limits. API requests are subject to rate limits to ensure system stability. Consult our API documentation for details.

  • Prohibited API Content. API usage must comply with our messaging guidelines, prohibiting spam, phishing, or Apple-related spam.

  • Reselling. You may resell our SMS Sender service if you adhere to our terms and reseller policies.

8. Copyright Infringement and DMCA Policy.

SpoofCallerID respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe material on or linked to by spoofcallerid.com violates your copyright, notify us in accordance with our Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") Policy. We will respond by removing infringing material or disabling links to it, as appropriate. We will terminate access for repeat infringers under appropriate circumstances. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

This Agreement does not transfer any SpoofCallerID or third-party intellectual property to you. All right, title, and interest in such property remain with SpoofCallerID or its licensors. SpoofCallerID, spoofcallerid.com, its logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos are trademarks or registered trademarks of SpoofCallerID or its licensors. 10. Changes.

We may update our Services and the legal terms under which they are offered. Material changes will be communicated via our website, email, or other means, with a reasonable notice period before they take effect.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties.

Our Services are provided "as is." SpoofCallerID, its suppliers, and licensors disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our Services will be error-free or that access will be continuous or uninterrupted.

12. General Representation and Warranty.

You represent and warrant that your use of our Services will comply with our Privacy Policy, this Agreement, and all applicable laws and regulations, including those regarding online conduct, acceptable content, and data transmission. Your use will not infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of any third party.

13. Refund Policy.

Payments and credits for SpoofCallerID are non-refundable, including for undelivered messages or unused account balances.
